Two Nigerian military pilots die in a crash during Mali mission

Suspected mechanical failure has cost two Nigerian pilots their lives as the Nigerian warplane crashed near Mali border. The warplane was for the operations against the militant Islamists in Mali.These are the first casualties Nigeria has suffered after deploying troops in January to fight the militants as France withdraws some of its 4,500 troops from Mali, hoping that African forces will take over the campaign to fight the militants.
